Youth Engagement
The collective expertise of our Visual
Arts Academy® Team is used to create dynamic, integrated programs
that dove-tail with our partners’ (schools, agencies, faith organizations, CBOs, etc.) vision for youth asset development. Working closely with partners,
custom programs are designed to match the needs of the youth populations
served. The Visual Arts Academy’s Professional Shadowing Modules provide
hands-on technical training, skill-building (hard/soft), student vision mapping,
and attitudinal paradigm shifting opportunities for students to:

-from students' unique point-of-view, |
 |
Learn the techniques for producing
documentaries, short films, etc., that explore issues and topics that define
society as we know it, especially the worlds they live in, |
 |
Prepare for post-secondary opportunities:
collegiate, vocational, entrepreneurial, and the world-of-work (SCAN

journalism, pre-production, camera work, lighting technology, sound and
music production, marketing, promotions, drama, finance, accounting,
